• Have you been in close contact with anyone who’s been diagnosed with Covid-19 infection?
• Have you been in close contact with anyone exhibiting the below symptoms of Covid-19 infection?
• Do you have a high temperature (over 37.8*c)?
• Do you have a new, continuous cough?
• Do you have a sore throat, headache, chills or ache all over?
• Do you have any shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
• Do you have a loss of sense of smell and/or taste?
• Do you have any fatigue or malaise?
• Do you have any nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea?

I now need to make sure you’re not in the “High Risk” group; do you fall into any of these categories?

• Have you received a letter from the NHS asking you to self-isolate for 12 weeks from March 23rd?
• Have you had an organ transplant?
• Are you undergoing cancer treatment?
• Have you had a bone marrow or stem cell transplant within last 6 months?
• Do you have a severe respiratory condition?
• Is your immune system compromised in any other way?

I now need to make sure you’re not in the “Moderate Risk” group; do you fall into any of these categories?

• Are you aged over 70?
• Are you pregnant? (follow up, if pregnant AND with heart disease = High Risk)
• Do you have a less severe respiratory condition?
• Do you have a disease of the heart, liver or kidney?
• Are you diabetic?
• Do you have a neurological disease?
• Do you have a condition, or medication, that makes you at high risk of developing infections?
• Do you have a very high BMI (kg/m2 of over 40)
• Are you using public transport. If so, when was your last trip?
• Have you travelled by plane recently?
• Do you care for anyone in the high risk category or is there anyone you could put at risk following the appointment?

Face to Face Consults.

Just so that you know, before you arrive, we have some extra protocols in place to minimise infection risk.

If possible, we ask that you bring your own barrier-type (or better) face mask and towel.

If you don’t have a mask, we do have a small stock of washable masks and surgical masks that you can buy from us.

We ask you not to bring anything with you that you won’t need – just yourself and payment (cash or bank transfer). Coats, wallets, handbags etc are potential surfaces to spread the virus, and hard/impossible to decontaminate.
On arrival I will sanitise your hands and don’t be alarmed by me being dressed in PPE.
